I love the detail that they've sort of hacked two regular, human shirts together so Gharr can wear something. Pands probably aren't much of a problem, even if they need to bend at an extra joint, it'd just be a case of finidng some big and long enough.
What is that on the shirt? A Person with a joystick head using a joystick while being used as a joystick?
Oh yeah, finally somebody asked!
I recognized it as Drones album from Muse, but the "Moose" title kept making me think it was a niche parody or cover album.
Other people distort brand names because they are afraid of IP infringement, I do it just cuz I think it's fun ^^
Those pants look pretty skinny on him. I hope Iskra has noticed and is already planning to get him some clothes that fit. I also wonder why he didn't have any decent shirts in the duffel bag of personal things he brought down from the Dawn. Did Dan talk him into selling his stuff to make some money?
Its possible that Alliance clothing has a good degree of technology in it that the Raharr aren't willing to share yet.
Alternatively, they have some weight limit for personal items and since uniforms are provided he (and possibly others) have chose to keep personal clothing to a minimum in favour of other personal items in the weight limit.
The third option is that you're here for a lifetime, you will need to switch to local clothes eventually.
It is also true that the local clothing industry will adapt to the new clientele "eventually", so ... both sides could try waiting each other out.
Looking forward to seeing Gharr walk into the local "Mom&Pop" antiquated tailor boutique asking "Do you do special orders?"
I didn't notice it before, but their eyes are the same color.
If she's around him a lot (which now seems likely, at least in public as he's "advising"), it will be fodder for the silly tabloids (the ones that are usually black and white that most people buy for the humorous ridiculousness) and the crazy conspiracy theorists (as opposed to the non-crazy conspiracy theorists, who have been proven right about a ridiculous number of things in the last few years).
Good idea Gharr. And yeah, Dan is... Dan and Mark, we already ask him too much.
Wonder if most people would have the chills when touched by an genuine Alien.
If Iskra does not, she has earned a A+ on my ledger.
That's one way to test if you're allergic to alien skin.
Also He's lucky that harmless to earthlings viruses didnt kill him
He is not lucky.

He's lucky that his nanites don't need once-every-week proximity to some Alliance ship's "medifield generators" for a power source. ;-)
Well, they'd be pretty shitty and useless nanites then, wouldn't they? ;-)
... I'm not sure that I would agree to that out of the box. As someone who admins production systems, I'd say that designing subsystems so that they have an individual kill switch and are somewhat decoupled from other parts (as opposed to "well, looks like your biochemistry-suckling nanites decided to eat your body alive as they multiply beyond specs") is considered an asset ...
These aren't grey goo, they can't multiply. Furthermore, they're both being supplied energy and controlled from an implant, they're designed to go inert when leaving the body or breaking.
They've lived in close proximity for some time, getting to know each other, and are, as best we can tell, genuine friends. That makes it much easier.
Of course, the very first thing they did was *carry him away when he was injured* (and probably had the equivalent of a concussion), so the whole "touching" thing was dealt with early.
